OK, that's the same as mine

remember the K variant of the processor is for overclocking

if you're not going to be overclocking just get the i5-2500 which will save you money

but yeah looks good! and I would say that because it's almost what I ordered xD I don't have it yet so I can't tell you what it will perform like

Yeah K version is the unlocked version right, I might be doing some overclocking would you recommend upgrade the cpu cooler?

yes, defo up the cpu cooler if overclocking. have you considered a amd spec? you could get a very good setup for 900quid with amd!

You can still overclock without the 'K' variant i5 but to not big crazy clocks as the 'K'. You wouldnt really need to overclock it to high clocks for gaming, standard stock clocks are fine or if you want you can overclock it a little further. I recommend dropping the K variant and the high speed ram for perhaps a higher gpu like a amd 6950 or gtx 570.

you cant go wrong with either amd or intel :) both will have no problems managing games with fine a decent build.

I Upgraded to the Titan Fenrir evo one. Also I upped the power supply(corsair) from 650 to 750, not much but If i'm overclocking I beleive I would need more power, About the HD6970, Isn't the gtx 560 ti better becuase In the near future I plan to add another gtx 560 ti to my system, I'm also sticking with the ram becuase as you say it's only 1pound more than samsung. If I could get the same budget with a amd spec I might aswell go for a core i5, I've read reviews that it's alot better and faster than amd cpu's.

The price Of the system now with a few changes is £923 including vat&delivery.

also, swap the 1600mhz ram to 1333mhz ram as 1600 is only needed when OC'ing!

There is a 1 pound difference between 133mhz memory and the 1600mhz memory so I might aswell spend a extra pound and get the 1600mhz in case I decided I want to overclock.

The amd 6970 and 6950 will beat the gtx560Ti pretty much any day even if you Crossfired them, they will very likely beat an SLI 560Ti.

indeed an intel is better than amds current lineup but the price difference goes towards them. amd's good cpu range will provide plenty of power for gaming.

Agreed!

And Tom's spec above is spot on, I'd go with that.
