This scene in the Star Trek 5, where she dances, at the time she was 57! She looks pretty incredible to me

That's aside from being a pioneering black woman for gender and racial rights.

What an icon she was. As suggested, absolute trail blazer. Entire Star Trek community will be devastated.

I hope there will be a documentary release for her career, would make for a very good watch I think.
