Noob looking for advice for PC bulid

To start off I have very limited knowledge of Pc's so help Is very much appreciated, I tried to contact a local PC company but seems like they don't want business as there communications are trash, anyway...

I'm looking to run a self learning AI program called Monker solver.

I've asked around and looked on forums/Videos and I'll be needing a lot of CPU power and Ram.
My Budget is 3k-3.5k euros. I was told a 'Threadripper' is maybe what I'd be looking for.

From my limited Knowledge 24 core would be fine and I would need 128GB Ram or even perhaps 256GB (price depending). SSD 1 TB or perhaps 2 TB (price depending). Graphics Card I'm not too worried about as Monker doesn't need anything too high tech but something average/above average will be fine as I only do a little bit of gaming now and then.

Motherboard - I've no knowledge about at all

In terms of a case and cooling system I again have no knowledge about this stuff but I guess something decent as the simulations I will be running might be long/hard on the PC?

Thanks
Adam

No idea what the software is or does but there isn't that many choices with coolers and MB for Threadripper, put something together on the builder and see what people comment, that's the best way of getting advice on builds.

Thank you @Scott @RichLan564
I think maybe the Ryzen 9 16 cores might well be enough for what I'm looking for so I might go with that.
Sorry for the noob question but what is the difference between a storage drive and M.2 SSD drive? I see you mentioned two different M.2 SSD drives and is it necessary to get both a storage drive and M.2 SSD drive? @Scott
thank you for your time

Basically it's about the "form factor": the size and shape of the storage device and the way it attaches to the computer. For many years, SATA was the interface that connected storage devices (hard drives and SSDs) to motherboards. This is still possible, but it carries a speed limit (600MB/s). To overcome that, there is a new(ish) connection protocol called NVMe. This comes alongside a new physical design, which is much smaller, called M.2. Most NVMe devices are M.2 devices; most M.2 devices are NVMe devices.

Basically this means there are two tiers of performance: SATA devices (what the config tool calls "storage drive") and M.2 devices. SATA is only really good for hard drives now. You can buy SSDs that connect by SATA, but there's not much cause to. If you want SSDs (and you do!), you should go for M.2 ones.

Perhaps that's more technical info/history than you need/want, but it's an answer!

Hey I'm currently in the market for a new PC for running a self learning AI program called Monker solver, I've very little knowledge about PC's myself but been told I need a lot of CPU and RAM which I've nailed down but apart from that is my build ok in general? GPU I'm not worried about as I don't game that much and monker doesn't require anything top of the range

Feedback is greatly appreciated
Thanks

Hey Adam, I see you have a couple of stellar looking builds suggested above by @Scott. Is there any reason why you're enquiring with a new spec? The one here is inferior in pretty much every way.
