Hi! Im needing help deciding a good long term pc that will last me for a while. I am a games design student with an oculus headset (soon to upgrade to a vive headset) and need something that can handle the workflow. However, like any student, im broke and cant afford to pay up front, and only in small installments (£50 and under, can stretch to 60 if its my only choice). I could use the help! Thank you.

Are you looking for a PC Specialist system? It's a custom PC that comes fully built. They do have a pay monthly option, but if you can't pay within 12 months you'll incur pretty hefty interest over 4 years.

For a VR capable build, you'll need a minimum of a 2070 Super which would set you back around £1500

With that in mind, it would be just under £50 a month over 4 years, or £125 a month if you were to settle within the 12 months (in which case you incur no interest).

I personally wouldn't suggest a Vive headset, they've hugely dropped the ball and are very likely going to go out of business shortly. The Valve Index is by far the best headset on the market and if you've already got satellites, it's not that expensive.

I could probably streatch for the 125 a month option, as the intrest dose indeed look very heafty. Ive already been playing around with some specs and seeing my options on the site. My little thing is that if it can handle vr, it can handle anything else i need to do and more. As for the headsets, yeah i should probs go index, but for now my tiny oculus quest will have to do. My current pc is a small lenovo one, dealing with ryzen 3 mobile and radeon vega. It cant handle any mainstream games and is making me very frustrated (I got it for gaming haha)

Thanks
