Not going to buy the pre-built PCs manufactured by PC Specialist.

Fancy a wee vent. I bought the PC SPECIALIST ESL Certified PC from PC world last month. I had to send it back due to the machine not connecting to the internet. PC Specialist was very helpful over the phone, but in the end, the guy I was talking to thought my issue could be a hardware fault. PC World replaced it with a new computer, which arrived last week the day before I left for Turkey.

After coming home yesterday, I went to set the computer up, to find it had the exact same issues as the first one! No other devices in the house have the same issue, so it really stumps me. I am going to ask for a refund and buy another model of computer. Id quite fancy buying the Vortex SX, but my experience so far has made me hesitant to buy anything from PC Specialist in general, even custom PCs.

That's, needless to say, rather unfortunate and wouldn't leave a good first (or 2nd) impression!

I have to ask, and apologies if you did, but did you connect the antennae to the wifi card on receiving the PC?

In any event, you can often buy a PC direct from PCS for less than resellers sell them for, and of course you get the option to customise parts.

If the Vortex SX is this one, what monitor will you be gaming on?

What's the spec of the PC you currently have?

Just asking as it can be possible to buy direct from PCS for less than the resellers sell a given config. e.g.
Not to mention the option to customise
