4070 Super lands where I think the 4070 should have landed in the first place xx70 = xx80Ti.

The price swings have been wild in previous years though. Finally starting to see some strong performance under £1k.

The 4080 super for me enters it into just suitable price territory for the performance, they’re reckoning under 1000 for uk, roundabout 960.

I bought the 1080 on pre order for 800. Given inflation and world economic issues, I think 960 is justifiable.

The 4080 should NEVER have been 1200, that was just daylight robbery

So, as expected, no significant performance boost, but a nice 20% saving (PCS is saying £935 as my upgrade option).

Now about the same price for the Nvidia RTX4080 Super as the AMD 7900XTX - for worse raster performance, but much better VR/RT performance.

Nobody was saying to buy the Super for the extra performance over the 4080, but purely for the £200-£250 saving. It's only 2-3% faster than the 4080.

I'd sell my granny for any model, no matter how disgusting!
