Firstly I have to say that PCSpecialist has built me an excellent desktop for my flight sim requirements.......amazing. If your thinking of using PCSpecialst, do not hesitate. First class pc's with a first class service.
I'm confused, and the more I research the more confused I get, hence this post. I have an Elgato HD60 lying around doing nothing so thought I would connect it to my PCSpecialist desktop then use the Elgato to connect to a laptop to record game play. My plan was to connect a VGA from desktop to monitor (for picture) then hdmi from desktop to elgato (in) then elgato (out) to monitor (for sound) then usb from elgato to laptop and fiddle around with audio settings to get sound on laptop. Problem is the Nvidia GEforce GTX 1070 doesn't have a vga connection (that I can see?) Can anyone help advise how I could connect the Elgato to a desktop GTX 1070 and laptop for recording. I want to limit what my gaming pc has to do and do not want to spend on capture cards when I have an Elgato gathering dust here already.
Thanks
Paul
