Hi pcspecialist support,
I have 64GB RAM in my 17,3" OCTANE VI (4x 16GB). Can I upgrade it to 4x 32GB by myself?
32GB DDR4 single modules are available in SO-DIMM.
eg: Samsung SO-DIMM 32GB, DDR4-2666, CL19-19-19 (M471A4G43MB1-CTD)

Do you plan to offer them in the Octane VI case as option for configuration in the future ? (4x 32GB)
The Intel CPU i9-9900k supports 128GB RAM.
Does the motherboard theoretically support 32GB single modules?
Any info on that?

Michael

Does he actually mean the octane 4 or is this a misspelled octane 6.

There's been a lot of octane 4 related posts lately and I'm confused

Do you, Pc Specialist, intend to update the bios, and when will that happen?
I have installed two 32 gb ram modules in the Octane VI. I would like to install two more to have 128 GB of ram. The processor that I have installed (i9 9900k) accepts them but my Octane Vi does not, so I suppose it is a problem of the bios, because there are other laptops based on the same Clevo chassis and processor who accept them.

You’d have to ask PCS directly, they don’t monitor these forums, but I don’t see why they would. If you need those kinds of resources a laptop is not the right choice.

Come on, man, look at this:

Maybe Pcspecialist people should do the same thing if they would retain their customers, don`t you think?

Whether anyone here thinks yes or no doesn't matter a great deal, it's ultimately PCS's call on whether to offer it. You need to ask them directly if you want an answer. The forums aren;'t an official support channel Please do let us know what they say as it is interesting.

I just sent another message to Pcspecialist, but I don't expect an interesting answer. Last time they told me that I couldn't use the 32 gb ram stick and i have 2 installed. As soon as they answer me, I tell you.
A greeting
