Onboard Sound Card question

Hi after finally getting to use my New desktop PC from PCS and just getting the onboard sound card option.... I have no sound BUT I think I have made a silly mistake and didn't get any Speakers lol.. New Monitor bought separately doesn't have built in speakers either.. so think I've been an Idiot!

Please confirm lol

If you have no speakers, you don't need a sound card, you need speakers

The motherboard audio is fine but you need something to output it to.

Ye thats what I have the motherboard audio lol the sound settings have lovely green spiked graphics going up and down when I test the sound lol ...so will get some small speakers tomorrow ha ha
