Open to changes, need a high end spec that will last - gaming plus Heavy photoshop

Hi,
You could consider upgrading the PSU if you are planning in adding a 2nd gtx 670 since your motherboard supports sli. If you are planning to overclock your cpu you could also consider a pre-overclocked system from PCS to avoid instability issues and silver warranty for £5.

2nd Gfx card prob no, Overclocked i5 is looking likely.

The configurator didn't go into too much detail on the motherboards, I'm hoping that one has plenty of USB 3.0 headers and is pz77 compatible.
I think the psu is ok.

There is further information on the interrogation sign next to the different types of motherboards regarding USB 3.0. If you are not planning to SLI then the psu you chosen will be fine. Your motherboard supports SLI.

I think the 670 represents pretty good value for the performance, if I were to decide to SLI later, what kind of output PSU would you think?

How about cooling? I know the case has been favourably reviewed, and whilst big, isn't too big, do I need more case fans? CPU cooler should be ok, though unclear if its the h100 or the newer h100i

To SLI you would need 750w PSU. I wouldn't worry about cooling for your spec, as you said the haf-xm has pretty good reviews. I think it is the h100 not the newer version but for an official response you should contact PCS directly.
