So i have the money tohether for my new PC (Finally!) and i have chosen my specs with help from a few people , to me it looks really good :)

Only one thing im not too sure about is the the choice of operating system...

Can someone shine some light on my dilema ?

Is it worth paying the extra money for Windows 7 Ultimate ?
32bit or 64bit ?

Any reply would be helpful , thank you :)

Ok , so ill stick with a 64bit system , as im going to be running 12Gb Ram.

Now i have that established is there any other Pros/Cons Of Premium vs Ultimate ? Such as processing speed etc. (Maybe not a good example) But you know what i mean :p

Cheers :)

From what i understand for everyday home users their is no point in spending the extra money for ultimate unless you require a specific function of the ultimate software such as bitlocker but i too would reccoment the home premium, again unless you know u need specific features.

Aside from what manatadog said the only reason to go for professional or ultimate over premium would be to use more than 16GB of RAM which really isn't necessary. Windows 8 (128 bit) will be out in a couple of years and until then no one really needs more than 16GB of RAM.
