Opinion and recommendations of new gaming rig

I’ve just ordered a new gaming rig from PC specialist and just wanted to get some of your guys opinion on the purchase and if you have any expertise about overclocking recommendations how far should i push it etc. Main reason I’ve upgraded from my previous Intel based GTX 970 rig is it’s just at the point where it’s dropping too many frames when VR is add to the equation (first gen vive with Index controllers). In addition even games like satisfactory is only hitting about 30 to 40 frames on minimal settings and drops down to around 10 FPS when the cpu starts getting tax’s.

The last PC I bought from PC specialist was about 7/8 years ago and the only thing ever had upgrade it was with additional storage, graphics card and a bit more ram. its age was one of my mean deciding factors of going back here to pick up my current new gaming rig. last time many years ago on a different account I requested your guys input and got some great feedback and I wanted to request again and I would greatly appreciate anyone with their advice.

thank you.
p.s if people are interested I’ll update this with current rig Specs.

If overclocking, ideally a better quality PSU (TXm series). For this kind of system a better PSU would be appropriate anyway tbh.

And a better cooler, ideally H100x, or the 240mm Cooler Master one is apparently alright.

And I'd have probably gone for a better mobo too though apparently the VRMs on the 'budget' Gigabyte one are alright.

Drop the extra case fans. The AIO is adding fans to the system anyway
Drop the cheapo soundcard, motherboard audio is fine.

get the 970 Evo SSD instead. At the 500gb mark, it's barely more expensive (and has a free game) and is quite a bit faster. Or switch to the SX6000 and save a load of cash. The 760p doesn't really have a place between the alternatives

You can amend orders after placing them
