Hey guys, I was wondering if the RTX 2060 would be a suitable alternative for the GTX 1660 Super? Do you think the RTX 2060 would work for video editing or is it better built for something else like gaming? Is it just more powerful than GTX 1660 Super?

Rtx would offer a significant advantage with the RTX cores. Budget was the limiting factor.

Looks good to me!

Thinking ahead - there are a few pointers when you receive your PC. Essentially, run windows updates until no more available, get latest GPU drivers from the GE Force Experience icon on your desktop, ensure Windows Defender is up to date and personally, I'd create a Windows Recovery disk and a Windows Restore Point.
Also, optomise the SSD and M.2 drives once then turn off the scheduled maintenance. This type of drive tech doesn't require it.

This post is well worth looking at:

Thank you very much @RobSas, I hadn't noticed that post! I really appreciate these pointers, they're really helpful!

Thanks again for all your help and expertise, very glad I consulted you all first, it's given me a lot more confidence in my order!

I wouldn't run a defrag on an SSD, doesn't do any good, actually reduces the lifespan.

SSD's don't fragment, so it literally does nothing other than use up R/W's.
