Opinions on this ~€1600 build for mid level gaming into the future

Hey folks! Looking to get a build and wanted some extra eyes on it before I commit. I'm primarily just looking to buy something that'll last me a good few years playing games as they come out at at least mid settings with 60-100 fps. Preferably on 1440p (since I've never really tried it). Current games in rotation are Rainbow Six Siege, Valorant, FFXIV and looking at playing AC: Valhalla and Cyberpunk when they come out. I bought my last machine in 2013 and it's been more than fine until recently and I imagine it'll only get worse going forward. I'd regularly be using discord chat when playing and occasionally doing video calls. Probably music / video on at the same time as all this.

My points of concern / question:
1) I was heavily torn between 3600 and 3700x. Leaning on 3700x as I figure it'll last me longer, and also my previous build was heavily CPU throttled so I'm a bit reluctant to have that experience again.

2) I looked at reviews for some of the cases and came to this one based on price point + airflow (I also added a rear fan). Any strong opinions here?

3) Motherboard was just one I picked based on my desire to a) not upgrade again any time soon and b) my friends mentioned it was decent.

Let me know if there's anywhere obvious you think I can save money. 1600 is about the most I want to spend on it, considering I also need to buy at least one fancy new monitor as well.

Thanks for reading!

Thanks for the welcome!

I was thinking around €400ish for the monitor (£350), but again willing to put a bit more into it, especially if the rig price comes down. I'd say for rig + monitor I'd have a hard cap at about €2000 total (£1800). If i can get away with cheaper while still being reliable into the future I'm still more than happy to do that of course :p

I'm not too worried about fan noise, as I tend to have headphones on 90% of the time and it'll be sitting under my desk away from me, but noted on the fans. I'll keep eyes out just in case I spot something.

I didn't mention it, but I am also planning on moving over my existing drives, which is why there may be a "lack" of storage on it as is. I have a tb hdd and 256gb ssd, both SATA which are still in good enough shape to be useful.

Thanks for the response!
