Hello everybody, I found myself at a crossroads wanting to upgrade from a ps4 for gaming while looking at getting a pc for video editing, with the launch of the new generations for ps5 & xbox Series S/X, with stock being a issues I started thinking two birds, one stone.

Will be used for AAA gaming & will be set up to a 55" OLED 4k 120hz, I understand there are better options for performance switching from t.v to monitor on fps, however for editing and comfort I went with oled.

I would appreciate some opinions as I spent a month researching from zero hardware knowledge & I have arrived at this, price wasn't a factor as I wanted to try create a powerful machine offering a comfortable smooth experience, also some parts I wanted where out of stock so some small changes had to be made, Thank You.

(water cooling sounds terrifying) XD

What monitor do you have Refresh rate and resolution or make & model, if its anything less than a 4k monitor this is overkill.

You say price isn't a factor, surely you've got a budget of max spend

If budget isn't an issue then the below will handle anything you can throw at it, from gaming to 4k editing.
Personally I would look at getting peripherals elsewhere, PCS don't have the best selection/prices of mice, keyboards and monitors in my opinion.

Obviously we can downgrade this based on budget as neccessary, this is just the best of the best build. It may be overkill for your needs, or your monitor, so if you could elaborate a bit more on the level of editing you do, and the monitor (make/model or resolution/refresh rate would be handy to know) you're currently rocking it will help us adjust as neccessary.

Hi Martin, aha monitor... I picked resolution over fps, will be hooking it up to a 55" OLED 4k with a load of bells and whistles, but capp'd at 120 fps, coming from console to pc it was a comfort choice over performance while still holding up, plus editing on the bigger screen i found a little easier.

As for price it is the "dream build" so I picked what i liked & checked the price after, the threadripper seemed reeeeeallllly over kill.

Thank you for replying :)

Hello MrWilson, Will be used for AAA gaming & will be set up to a 55" OLED 4k 120hz, I understand there are better options for performance switching from t.v to monitor on fps, however for editing and comfort I went with oled.

Regarding price from reviews & research I picked parts from what i liked and the price is what it is, laid back approach to the money side without going threadripper ares, also finding parts is stock was a BIG factor.

Thank you for your reply, the cpu you suggested was the ideal choice, as for editing that is a skill set i wish to train up, skys the limit ;)

You’ve got a suitable display, so if you’ve got the budget then go for it! Try and ignore/enjoy the jealous looks you get from other forum users 😉

Hello :) I have ordered a set up & the team at PCS are in the 2nd - 3rd day of preproduction, I feel very fortunate to say first build & 3090 in the same sentence BUT despite ever growing excitement I would like to ask if anyone has any idea's one which RTX 3090 model is likely to be coming in the set up, I believe it was on a promo to come with either C.o.D or ACV.

Any info would be greatly appreciated :) Thank you.
