Optimus III Internal Speakers not Working, but Headphones do.

I've been having this issue for a quite a while now.. I don't know if its the drivers or the speakers themselves but whenever I try to use the internal speakers they don't work.. The volume meter works; so when I play music, the volume meter shows the music is playing but the speakers won't play it.

But when I use my headphones, everything is fine and the sound is working.

Has anyone else experienced this issue before? or know how it can be solved?
