Need a laptop for intensive cpu/ram/hdd processing (not GPU processing though) but with a large screen. The optimus III 15.6" with the quad i7-3610QM cpu would be fine but I would prefer a 17" screen. The optimus II 17.3" would be a good screen size wise but I could only afford the quad i7-2670QM cpu. I did price up a 17.3" SkyFire II with the quad i7-3610QM but it is way too much.
Would having the 17.3" screen over the 15.6" make any real difference since they are both 1920x1080?
How much of a peformance hit would having the i7-2670QM instead of the i7-3610QM make?
