Optimus VII GPU

Just in case there are still people having issues with the older Optimus, with the GTX960, the latest MINT, 18.2 Sonya KDE works out of the box with nvidia drivers. There had been quite a few problems with that GPU on some distros, log in loops being one but this distro seems fine, if I get time will check the MATE and Xfce version as well but cannot see why they should be any different.

Update on the Optimus VII, it is working fine with Ubuntu 17.10 Artful Aardvark using the Gnome desktop. Installation was very quick with no problems and after switching to nvidia drivers it was still OK.
