Option of enhanced thermal paste on optimus 2 laptops?

Hi Im considering buying an optimus 2 15 inch laptop with the 2.4ghz 2760qm cpu. I've been doing a bit of digging on the forum and have seen that some users have reported quite high temps (90s) on this machine even on lower clocked CPUs than this one. My main concern is that this will be used for 3D rendering and could be needed to be at full load for 4-5 hours at a time and at 90+ degrees that might be a bit of an issue. I have noticed that on the order configurator for the vortex2 (I think thats what its called - either way the slightly beefier one) there is an option for adding a premium thermal paste for £9 but this option does not exist on the optimus config. Does the optimus already have the premium paste applied? If not is it possible to request it?

I was wondering exactly the same thing last night, I would like the option if it isn't used as default

So what kind of drop in temps could you expect approximately by using the premium paste?

You can expect circa 3-5 degrees, but possibly up to 7 degrees depending on the usage.

Enhanced thermal paste on a cpu in a laptop is like icing on a cake for us hopefuls...
