Hi All,

I hope everyone is having an amazing Monday.

What are the wait times for a liquid series build. I'm on 7 days pre production and I want the computer to arrive before Battlefield 2042 comes out.

What does everyone think?

TIA!

There are very few configurations that would make any use of a liquid series.

If you post the full specs you've ordered we could advise further.

Liquid Series are really a queue of their own, one person recently I think was on about 45 working days before it was built which is just over 2 months.

Also was this guy waiting for parts?

All my parts are in stock as far as I am aware.

Oh man you're paying an awful lot of money and kind of dogging the entire build with a previous gen CPU

The 5600x will outperform the 3700x in most tasks, I'd strongly recommend changing that to the 5800x if you want 8 core but minimum change it to the 5600x

Also the silver warranty is a fiver and bargain for a build like this especially. If you run into any problems then it can cost a hell of a lot to ship it which would be covered in the silver warranty

I just wouldn't recommend a liquid series at all for this kind of build, you could get far more performance with the same budget. Being closed loop won't offer any benefit whatsoever for this build, it's literally pointless at the expense of poor performance.

Yeah looks awesome but completely impractical for these uses

What would a practical use be?
What are you using it for?

What monitor are you pairing it with, what make and model?

The only scenarios where an open loop system makes any sense these days is with a huge rendering machine or data science workloads, outside that, they offer zero benefit over a closed loop. The money you're spending just on the cooling is reducing the performance you coudl have in the build, it doesn't make any sense. You could get a far better performing machine for the same money on a closed loop AIO.
