Waiting is the best part... (I lie, I would totally order fast track if I could)

Don't be surprised if your in for a fairly long wait before things get moving, all the good stuff happens in a couple of days right at the end (obviously)

yes fast track was very tempting, but i feel some restraint is good for me :p just trying to avoid that endorphin high you get when you get it almost straight away. and some self punishment for spending alot of money :p im aiming for 3 weeks and anything before then is a bonus really, and i think the progression doesnt necessarily reflect whats happening with the build in the time scale . but ill still stalk my order review a few times a day! silly i know :) just "enjoying" the wait as much as i can :p

mantadog is right, it will take ages to get through the first stages so you'll be looking lots of times and it won't look like it's getting anywhere.

Mine took longer than I thought but the biggest annoyance was the courier company who said they had tried to deliver and I wasn't in.
I was in, they'd either been to the wrong place or not even tried to deliver and guessed the door colour wrongly (that they said they had knocked at).
1 day later it arrived and has worked fine ever since.
So much better than my old PC.

well its the 6th working day and its still on processing. i got an email on sunday about the waiting times for processing, its nice getting a bit of confirmation of whats happening. just because im nosy i decided to give PC specialist a call and ask how it was progressing. turns out its in preproduction, wohoo!
and that i might get it delivered this week. i had to wait 10 min ish for my call to be answered but i was prepared for that as the "call wait phone monitoring" showed that there was some technical support calls being handled at that time. good nondescript waiting music and the "your call is in a que" message wasnt repeated to often as some companies do. i could observe in real time my call and who else was being helped or in a que, really helpful. sadly iv forgot the name of the guy who answered my questions, but he was nice and friendly and really helpful. just is a bit reassuring to have a nice phone support if its needed. so im aware that it might not arrive this week but then it might! wohoo :)
