Ordering next week, any final advice?

So after a TON of waiting and research, it's finally time to order my gaming PC :D

Here's my spec and the reasoning where needed:

Nope nothing massive looks good only thing your second HDD you could put a caviar green in instead of the cheaper standard drive if you wanted.

For Fraps to take advantage of both drives they have to be the same speed (in this case 7200) and i'm not really prepared to pay the extra for a Black when it's only going to have Fraps on it :D

Just one comment. My PC arrived yesterday after the long wait so imagine my disappointment to find the CPU cooler lying in the bottom of the case. I went for the same one as you. As it got through testing & QA I presume it happened in transit. On inspection the feet that connect it to the Mobo look pretty flimsy & one had broken. So now I have the hassle of an RMA. I may have just been unlucky but may be something you want to check with the support team or upgrade to a better one.

Oh really :eek: plus rep for the advice lol, i'll be sure to phone up PCS and ask them about this as I'd rather not have to buy an overkill cooler in the lifetime of this particular CPU :/ Plus the fact that I'd be useless at trying to fit it ahaha :)

lol Have you listened to what he said ? on the first round of tests "however when we recorded and had fraps installed to the slowest drive the secondary and had it completely independant from the game we averaged 52fps" and 52 FPS was the best result while recording so that means just have your fraps on the second drive and record on the same drive and what i find super amusing on the second lot of tests "with a new computer so don't compare with the previous results" lols have a look at the graph on the average FPS on the 2 WD's 7200rpm is 51.114 FPS which is lower than the slower drive on the previous tests :p

LOL i did notice about the slower drive but used the precautionary principle that if it works with a slower driver, it should work better with a faster one :D i didn't notice the FPS thing though hahaha that made me laugh
