Part Exchange

Just wondering if pcspecialist are able to offer a part exchange scheme for Clevo laptops or maybe some kind of upgrade scheme. Am just about to enter my card details for an i7 vortex but wondered if there were any discounts of schemes I could make use of. Spending £1200 on a lappy again is somewhat daunting :-D

Regards

That im not really sure but i dont believe they do. You could give them a call to ask tomorrow to check.

I don't think so no.

Why not sell it on second hand? You might not get much but it should go some way towards a replacement.

My problem ATM is the Gpu is on it's way out. Typical 9800m gt. I'm trying to decide 15.6 or 17 for another £60. Heh

You could still flog it on eBay as long as it's listed as faulty. Plenty of individuals/companies will buy equipment for repair/spare parts and other purposes.

If you're wondering how much to ask for it post up the full spec and I'm sure some members of the forum will be able to give you an idea of what its worth.

2 Things.

1) Get the 17.3" - you'll love it!
2) Hopefully, in the next couple of months, we'll have a trade/sale section for forum members :) Hold it until then :D

this is also my dilema the 15" or 17", the trouble is if I go for the 17" it means an ssd and 500gb drive cos it seems a waste not to do it :) but I really don't want to spend that much :(, pc specialist have already battered my wallet with the below lol.
