Password Vault Manager

Have you tried password vault manager for storing and sharing your log in details securely? I have been seeing some free software on the web but not sure if this is capable of viewing and recording any active privileged sessions. What are your recommendations?

Dashlane but unfortunately it is not free. Synchronizes everything with different devices.

Same here, using it for many years both at work and at home. Amazing piece of software. Allow for multiple users to be connected to it as well. It does not store any information in the "cloud" (like LastPass do) so you are in charge of your data at all times. Obviously if you want to store it in the cloud you can (aka Google Drive, OneDrive) but that is entirely your choice.

Me too.

But I also have a system whereby I have a fairly weak password for forums such as this where no real personal information is available and I have another for websites where there is some personal detail that allows for partial re-use and then for the really potential big-hitters in terms of damage wrought if they get compromised, I also have Keepass.

However. for most of my online purchases, I also use a pre-paid mastercard so if scumbags ever compromise it, they can only take out as much as I've topped it up. :)
