Getting a new pc. Almost bought HP Omen 30L. Need it for work, video editing and some gaming. (Warzone in particular). Got a quote for this with similar specs. £1300. Any thoughts?? No idea if this is too much or ok. Would like to be able to upgrade in future/ want it to last a long time.

Assuming you're looking at a 1080p monitor, I've made a few amendments. The 1660 Super is a perfectly functional GPU for video editing and will cover you for gaming. Upgraded the CPU to the 3800X because it was a whole £6 more expensive, so why not?

Also put you a top quality cooler and PSU in so when you want to upgrade you've got the headroom. The only thing I'm torn over is the amount of RAM. If you're just doing light video editing then 16GB is probably sufficient. But 32GB may be preferable if you're doing a fair bit of it.

The 1660 Super would be optimum if you're going with a 1080p 144Hz screen, worth it if you can budget for it (y)

Do I really need a processor cooler that expensive. Will the Corsair H60 2018 Hydro Series High Performance CPU Cooler be ok?
