Hi can anyone help me pick a pc for warzone please? I’m new to pc gaming so not got a clue what I’m looking for. I’d like to use the pc with my 4K tv and a controller

Do you know the make an model of the TV? This will help us determine the GPU also an idea of budget would be great

I would ask though if you're playing with a controller and TV why not just get a console, they are much cheaper?

Would this just be for gaming? Just warzone? And would it be possible to know what other aims you have other than 'use with 4k monitor and controller', ie high fps in warzone, super fast load times etc etc

Any idea of roughly what you want to spend? Making use of a 4K monitor get's pretty pricey very quickly on just the GPU. Will this PC be used for anything else?

You're probably looking at around £1600+ for a PC that will equal PS5 performance at 4K. If it's just going to be used for gaming in the sitting room I wouldn't see it being worthwhile, particularly as you've mentioned that you already have a PS5.

Yes just for gaming, at the moment just warzone and probably the new battlefield when it’s released this year. I’m playing warzone at the moment at 1080p & 60hz on my tv. Someone told me it increases lag if I run any higher. So I’m happy to play at the same resolution. I’d like faster load times also

Don't want to spend over say £1500.
Should be enough to hit the goal, but some areas might have to get left behind and upgraded by yourself later down the line to truly maximise the build. Do you have a spec you have put together? Give it a try yourself and post it here and I'm sure people will post changes and advise for you to take on board and use to better your system and fit the budget.

Thank you, yeah upgrading in the future is definitely an option. I’ve seen this

Made a few slight changes, namely removing Bullguard and going for better cooling. Plus the Silver warranty is always worth a fiver

Hi thank you. I noticed this message any ideas.

We note that you have selected an M.2/PCI-E SSD drive and a mechanical hard drive under the primary hard disk drive option. Please confirm whether you would like your operating system (OS) to be installed on the SSD drive or on the mechanical hard drive:

The SSD it'll boot Windows in seconds! It should also say in brackets "(not recommended)" next to the mechanical hard drive!

I would go 3070 for 4k/60hz, but you will also need a powerful zen3 cpu, to have warzone run well. So you’re looking at £1700

If it's just warzone why not an Xbox Series X ? Can also plug in a keyboard and mouse if you prefer. It's probably around the same power as a £1500 machine.
