So much "X on your wishlist is on sale!" spam in my inbox. Although actually the prices aren't that great, so before you impulse buy make sure to think about whether you're actually gonna play it as most of the titles I've seen are often on sale for less.

Shadow of War's £11.89 sale price is good though

Destiny 2 for free on battle.net https://www.pcgamer.com/uk/destiny-2-free/ (bnet being the only platform it's on)

Total War: Rome 2 on Fanatical for £6.49 including a couple of DLCs https://www.fanatical.com/en/game/total-war-rome-ii-emperor-edition great value if you've never played before

Also, this month's Humble Bundle looks terrible. Not that there's anything wrong with the games, but you can buy them for little more than the monthly price when on sale, which kinda undermines the point.

The Destiny 2 giveaway is the base game, so to stay current, you’ll need to buy the expansions. Nevertheless, there’s plenty to do on the base and I’m going for it!

Thanks for the heads up, Oussebon!

Edit: woo, 80something GB download!!!

Thankfully for the DL, battle.net doesn't throw a hissy fit if they patch th3e game while you download it, and often lets you start playing games before the download is complete. Though not sure if the latter will apply to Destiny 2.

The Twitch games client won't even let you pause downloads(!) and if you close the client the entire thing resets...

That’s really poor, how hard is it to have a capable download managed these days.

The battle.net games client is really good, getting absolute max bandwidth speeds, which a lot of others can’t sustain, and that’s at a time when I’d imagine demand is very high having offered it for free!

Slightly off topic, but well worth a mention:

If you have an amazon fire tv device, they’ve just released the Sega Genesis games as a complete package playable through compatible game pads. Costs around £11 and well worth it imho!

Razer's game store is closing. They seem to have some decent offers on there.

If I've understood it right you could buy one of the 'exclusives', and get a £10 voucher to spend on the store. e.g. buying the FC5 season pass for £15.59, then getting the base game for £2.50 (£12.50 - £10 voucher) which is much cheaper than buying the gold edition.
