It's fine for gaming, was the standard for years up until a few years ago, you won't notice any issues with it. Of course 144 or G-sync offers much better clarity, but only if you have the graphics power to support it.

On 60 Hz it will be ample.

It'll be good, you should be able to stick V-Sync on which will max the game out at 60 fps consistently, means it runs smoother.
