PC Suddenly gone really laggy?

When I try to play Far Cry 4, it goes really laggy now, eventhough I have played it on ultra for the last few days.Any help?

It's a new system and it didn't ask me to activate it, it did a few things then it was done.

When you receive it, you need to enter the windows key yourself to activate windows. Is it windows 8?

Go to Start Menu > PC Settings > and see if it says Activate at the top of the left list.
