Uodated via the Asus bios web update. Downloaded and installed fine no problem. Afterwards, my pC will not even recognise its hdmi input. Red led on motherboard and a few beeps but nothing on screen. Please help with advice what to do next.

Is this a PCSpecialist system? Can you post your full specs from the order page?

The latest one recommended by the bios update. V1407
You can try resetting the CMOS, I don't know what components that build has, but somewhere on the motherboard should be a reset switch, or a small battery that you take out for 1 minute and place back in. Then go into BIOS and reset all settings to default and try booting again.

Battery is out. I am leaving out for a minute or so as requested. Will try to reboot.
Rebooted and no difference
Please advise

Hi, thanks for getting back. I did as requested but it seems the PC is not recognising my hdmi attached TV as before. I have two beep with an redlight then after 10 seconds 1 beep followed immediately by 3 really quick beeps. Then nothing just no signal message from TV. All was working before the bios update. Regards

I would contact PCS. Unfortunately updating the BIOS without their guidance may have voided the warranty but give them a call anyway.

Yup as Spydertracks has said, best bet is to give PCS a call to discuss with them, they should be able to point you in the right direction if nothing else or arrange for RMA.

Ok thanks. What is RMA
Return Merchandise Authorization - its to ask PCS to repair your system basically. Give them a call, they'll walk you though it. But as Spyder noted, there may be a cost involved as updating the bios is typically not recommended.
