I've been recommended PCS for a new gaming laptop but I'm struggling to find reviews with benchmarks comparing to some of the more mainstream laptops.
The budget is around £1400, I have noticed the new Dell G5 SE with my preferred AMD 4800h 5600m combo but this has heat issues. The new HP Omen 15 2020 looks great but so far in the UK has no AMD version and is quite a hefty price for the spec.
The laptop is for my children, is used at home only. They want to play games inc some AAA and Minecraft. They like to record themselves like the YouTubers so it needs to be able to play games and record the screen and from the webcam (not AAA games for this though, I realise that will be pushing it).
I think my best choices are Optimus Pro and Vyper III. Can anyone share any experience of how these will perform and how the stats compare to the Dell and HP laptops? What's the difference between the aluminium and magnesium chassis, is one better that the other?
