Didn't want to necro the previous thread: https://www.pcspecialist.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?27644-PCS-watercooled-Pc-s

Shame it was posted to facebook before the forums I guess :(

Well we all need a holiday... These look excellent (I was going to say 'really cool' but decided against it)

Aye, they are coming.

We are extensively testing what is and isn't going to be feasible in going forward with this, for instance:

Coloured liquid or coloured pipes : My view on this is simply, coloured liquids cause congealing after a time and can greatly reduce cooling potential, not too bad for me, but for someone who buys a system who cant do the cleaning and watercooling changes themselves poses a problem. I wouldn't personally put any colours in my loops.

Leading on to:

Service schedule: We would need to provide this for the people that cannot maintain their own system, this may be 3/6/9/12 months for example and would be a cost, and more than likely not a small one.

We have to think that not everyone is at the same skill level and plumbing in a funnel to top up the system could scare a fair few people. Theres also the warranty implications in the case of a leak.

We want to get these systems to you, but there is a lot we need to work out in the terms of finer details, these systems will not be like the Corsair Liquid cooling options we do which are fit and forget - they are a high skill level item - which needs maintenance - we are trying to bring them to the masses.

We will let you know asap.

It sounds expensive, I could cancel my holiday. I hope it is feasible but many may be priced out if maintenance is required and the additional cost of having a watercooled system. How about self contained cooling for the GPUs like the hybrid EVGA cards also as an option?

Hey Keynes,

It might be, but that's the facts, these aren't a fit and forget item, they do require maintenance, they are an enthusiast item :) - NZXT do something I think called a kraken where you can use a H60 / h80 on a special bracket for a GPU - but again, this brings yet another problem, the majority of GPU manufacturers don't let you remove the stock cooling without voiding your warranty, and buying something in like an EVGA card that lets you change things like that = an extra 100 quid compared to another brand - you may aswell pay the money for a proper WC system :)

What is a simple decision for someone who builds their own PC at home turns into a situation where you can have a maze of catastrophic situations for an OEM builder like ourselves, I'm sure we will work it out as we always do though ;)

Any updates on the watercooled systems? :)

I am afraid i think it has been delayed until 2016 due to the Intel constraints and a few other kinks to work out.

That's disappointing, I am afraid it may be the same as the hydro cooler that was announced but never took off. Hope everything is sorted by next year.
