PCSpecialist Tornado A5 not detect fans.

First I know some about computers, but I usually just use them and this RBG stuff is new to me. Also English is not my first language.

I have Asus Prime B550-plus mother board. I have problems to detect fans. Bios and many programs like armory grate and Ai suite only finds CPU fan and not the three that are in the front. RGP and fans work, but I cannot control theirs speed. Three fans are connect whit each other by splitters and are connected to the motherboard whit Aura addressable Gen 2 header.

My goal is to get then silent when I do nothing, but I have hard time to manege to get them to work. After I read lot about 3 pin vs 4 pin, 5v vs 12v and PWM mode vs DC mode. I realize that I do not know much about fans either. I have try bunch of Bios setups and softwares, but no go. I even try to get one of the fans separate and connect whit one of the CHA fan slots, but the fan nor RGB did not work, other two still worked fine. So I put them back and manage not to destroy anything. Everything works, but just is too loud and annoying. Any help or links to good quids will be appreciate.

Usually when posting for assistance, we ask people to read this post first and post their full spec from their order page:

However, I believe the Tornado might be one that was sold via PCWorld/Currys or Very so can you either post a link to the spec of the one you bought or what I really suggest is the best course of action is to contact PCS and register the PC with them, if it was one that was bought via PCW/Currys etc, as this will give you access to the full specification (as in the thread above) to enable us to really see what we are advising on.

Thanks for the replay. Machine is purchase from Gigantti in Finland.
Also the specs in picture.

Assuming that Gigantti are an official supplier of PCS machines then you should have received details on how to register the machine with PCS - usually contacting them with a copy of the receipt.

This will then ensure you have a warranty as well as then have access to the full spec through the order page.

Can you provide a link to the page showing your machine on Gigantti please or was it bought second hand / refurbished through them?

Thanks for your query FoxMulberry.

The fans used in the Spectrum case on the Tornado are proprietary by design, so they use their own RGB/Fan method with a run-off connector for ARGB (use Armoury Crate to control this, you may need to hold the LED button until it syncs or cycle through the options until you find the one that syncs with your motherboard).

The fans are not speed-controllable sadly and only run at a single speed as they are simply SATA powered.

To have the fans fully controllable they would need to be replaced with different fans I'm afraid.

I dont know if it works the same as here in the UK, but if you phone and register your machine with PCS, you will get an account set up on the website and be able to see your full spec. You will then also get an option to see upgrade configurations and may be able to select and purchase or at least see whats compatible.

Thanks for the tip, my English speaking skills are worse than my writing and I am quite sure they do not have Finnish customer cervices.

No problem - do you speak any of the supported languages mentioned here - the dark green shaded countries:
