Photoshop CS4

I have recently purchased a new laptop from PC Specialist with the intention of transferring my licenced copy of Photoshop CS4 onto it.
I purchased my original copy as a direct download from Adobe.

In the past I have always gone to my Adobe account and re-downloaded it from there then deactivated it on my old PC and used my key to activate in on the new PC.

However this time I went to my account and the download option has dissipated. After a bit of googling it appears Adobe no longer allow you to re-download anything before CS5.
Does anyone know where I can safely download a copy (I presume my key will still work) otherwise is there a way to transfer the copy I have on my old pc onto the laptop?

I cannot afford to pay for the monthly subscription they now charge and I am perfectly happy and familiar with CS4.

I hugely appreciate any help you can give me.

if you can't sort it then check out affinity photo, about £40 one off payment

We love you Ukraine
There's an old site with links to the old trial packages which you should be able to license correctly to switch to the full package.

EDIT: Just additionally, proof that prodesigntools are an official adobe partner and safe to use:

Failing that, the official stance is to use the original CD.

You can also buy Photoshop Elements which is currently on sale for $70 one off payment, no subscription:

Unfortunately I purchased it as a direct download so don't have the original CD. Thanks for the link I will try it when I get home in the morning.
I did buy the Luminar 4 / AI humble bundle so failing all else I may have to learn how to use that. Has anyone used both Photoshop and Luminar? How do they compare?

I second this, I'm using Affinity Designer and Photo. Adobe subscription model is ridiculous for non professionals, i use Davinci Resolve (paid version) and Exposure X instead of Lightroom, i think all in it was around £400 and i own it for ever, for what would have been 6 months of Adobe subscription, a no brainer for a rank amateur such as me!
