Pixelated video playback (Win 7)

Hi guys,

I've noticed with my videos I'm getting a terrible amount of pixelation, even in higher 720p upwards videos, albeit slightly less so in those ones.
I've done a google search and it seems to be a fairly common problem and yet no real solutions that I can find.

My drivers are 100% up to date (I've just downloaded new ones to make sure) I've also got all codecs required and have tested videos in a couple of different media players all with the same pixelated results

I tried playing some older video files I had from my old rig, knowing them to be great quality before, and now they are pixelated.

Anyone had similar issues and know of any solutions? From what I've read it seems to be a Win7 and GTX400 series compatibility problem!?

Edit: Just to note, that gaming is absolutely spot on and everything looks stunning!

Not heard of this before JSG10. Do they play OK on your old rig? Are you sure it's not your monitor?

Yes they played absolutely fine on my old rig, perfect quality, which is why I found it odd and googled it. Seems it the same with a few people going to Win7.
I'm not sure if its the monitor, I'd fiddled with the settings but doesn't make much difference. To be honest I'm not sure what else I can do with the monitor to make a difference, its all plugged in correctly and display is fine normally and absolutely amazing while gaming. (Its one of your iiyama 22" by the way)

Could be driver related then, especially if it's a very common issue discussed on Google. I'm sure Nvidia will be working on some new drivers to fix it. Fell free to contact our call centre for further advice if needed.

Try the Brill Klite codec pack with the windows media classic player it may sort your prob??

Just an update. Tried a number of difference codec packs, now currently using CCCP + MPC but still having the same issues. I'm wondering if its a problem with the monitor? Anyone know how to mess around properly with the settings on the iiyamas? (prolite e2271hds) can't seem to find anything online for it.

Try a different monitor if possible, to confirm if it's definitely the monitor that's at fault.

Unfortuately thats not really feasable as I don't have another monitor, my old one got sold off with my rig. :S I'll speak to my brother and see if I might be able to borrow his but thats quite a lot of messing about

Just set up a 2nd display with my TV and the playback through that is perfect. No pixelation at all so I'm led to assume that it is indeed a fault with the monitor?! Any suggestions PCS? I've had a look through the monitors settings and all seems ok there, had a little play around and not achieved much, also played around with all the settings on the PC to no avail.

If you think the monitor is faulty and you're getting really bad pixelation, I would suggest you contact the onsite warranty company and they will repair or replace the monitor for your free of charge. All our iiyama monitor come with a 3 year onsite warranty as standard.
