Please advice: PC build for Amateur Content Creator

Hi,

Firstly, hats off to all the legends giving earnest and helpful advice to noobs like myself. I have been trying to configure a custom PC but I am finding it quite daunting to figure out what would be good for me and within a budget. I was hoping to get some help here.

Let me state my requirements:
  1. - I'd like to illustrate, animate (simple 2D animation) and edit said animations into videos.
  2. - I do voiceovers, so the PC should be able to support some simple Audio production.
  3. - Some gaming capability would be nice but it's tertiary.
  4. - Budget: £700 - £950

Thank you all in advance for any advise you can give me.

Cheers.

The AORUS B450 has a bit better onboard sound than the Asus B450.
The spec should handle your needs, including gaming (any modern game, even demanding ones medium-high).

Thank you so much for taking the time to help me out.
2 quick questions before I finalise this purchase, regarding casing and the ssd memory. If I were to use the ssd solely to install the os and software, what would your opinion be on a 256gb ssd instead? (just to see if i can adjust the price a bit there).
2ndly, the casing that you selected here, would it make a difference if I chose, say a CORSAIR SPEC-DELTA RGB MID TOWER Gaming Case?

Basically is the option you suggested a loud case (given all the fans)?

Apart from that, thanks once again for you help.

Cheers!

I'd avoid the Spec Delta as the front is sealed up quite badly and that will impact airflow (cooling) quite a lot. If you want a quiet case for a mid-range PC, then the Corsair 275Q is an option.

The 256gb SSD is "only" £19 cheaper, so I'd argue isn't worth the savings. You'll want your animation and audio projects on the SSD (archive to HDD once completed, but active projects on the SSD) most likely. Plus a favourite (edit - sp) game or two you'd want on the SSD to load into them faster.
