Hi

I'm happy with where the budget is and don't have much room to spend more.

I will mainly be using this for gaming and streaming.

can I connect to the Wi-Fi with this motherboard and Wi-Fi network card or is it better to have Wi-Fi included on the motherboard.? I have left this out due to the cost and my budget.

I am not sure on the sound card or the cooling

thank you in advance for any feedback

Godlike
You're slightly underspending in some areas so unfortunately we can't quite keep it down to the original amount, but this will be a nicely balanced system.

Case
LIAN LI LANCOOL 215 GAMING CASE I know the Spectrum has nice aesthetics, but the Lian Li case is far better for airflow. With a case performance is the most important factor, with aesthetics coming second to that.
Processor (CPU)
AMD Ryzen 7 5800X Eight Core CPU (3.8GHz-4.7GHz/36MB CACHE/AM4)
Motherboard
ASUS® ROG STRIX B550-F GAMING (DDR4, USB 3.2, 6Gb/s) - ARGB Ready! Cheaper than the Gigabyte motherboard, and has all the features you'll need.
Memory (RAM)
32GB Corsair VENGEANCE DDR4 3200MHz (2 x 16GB)
Graphics Card
8GB NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3060 Ti - HDMI, DP, LHR Perfect pairing with the 1440p display
1st M.2 SSD Drive
1TB PCS PCIe M.2 SSD (2200 MB/R, 1500 MB/W) A little light on storage but has room to add extra/faster drives down the line.
1st Storage Drive
1TB SEAGATE BARRACUDA SATA-III 3.5" HDD, 6GB/s, 7200RPM, 64MB CACHE
Power Supply
CORSAIR 750W RMx SERIES™ MODULAR 80 PLUS® GOLD, ULTRA QUIET The bare minimum I would recommend looking to the future. You should get 7+ years from the build but it will likely need a GPU upgrade in that time period to keep playing the latest games. Future GPUs are confirmed to be very power hungry so spending a little extra now means that you won't need to buy a brand new PSU a few years down the line.
Power Cable
1 x 1.5 Metre UK Power Cable (Kettle Lead)
Processor Cooling
PCS FrostFlow 200 Series High Performance CPU Cooler The minimum I would go. The 5800x runs fairly hot and many would recommend an AIO to keep it in check. For just gaming and streaming the FrostFlow 200 should manage, but the 100 would not have been ample.
Thermal Paste
STANDARD THERMAL PASTE FOR SUFFICIENT COOLING
Sound Card
ONBOARD 6 CHANNEL (5.1) HIGH DEF AUDIO (AS STANDARD)
Network Card
10/100/1000 GIGABIT LAN PORT
Wireless Network Card
WIRELESS INTEL® Wi-Fi 6 AX200 2,400Mbps/5GHz, 300Mbps/2.4GHz PCI-E CARD + BT 5.0 The Gigabyte motherboard also doesn't come with Wifi. If you have an ethernet connection you're fine to just use that, otherwise this is the right Wifi card for the job.

I'd tweak @MrWilson's build just a little to get a better PSU and better storage. You can go for the 5700X instead of the 5800X: this is basically a slight downclock and reduction in thermal output. It'll still perform really well in gaming, especially using a 3060 Ti at 1440p. This means you can get away with a lesser motherboard and also the cooler is no longer marginal. Finally, I'd reduce it to 16GB of RAM unless you know you need more for certain games. This allows a Gen 4 SSD for boot and a second Gen 3 SSD for game storage. I've not put a hard drive in, but you could if, say, you wanted to record gameplay.

Good call. I was leaning towards the 5700X but saw it was more expensive than the 5800X. The price saved on the mobo is substantial though!

Yeah, the 5800X isn't that appealing, stuck between the 5700X with a lower TDP on the one hand and the 5800X3D with better performance on the other. Not much reason to buy it now unless the price is much cheaper.

I don't know if I would trust the PCS 200 for the 5800X. Perhaps for the 5700X. The 5800X is actually the hottest chip in the AMD lineup. It needs maximum cools :D

thank you all for the help.

I have changed the RAM and upgrade the graphics card are these still suitable for the build ? I have around 100 more I can spend on the build if needed any recommendations would be a great help.

I really like this case please can someone confirm if it is suitable for the build below ? I really don't want a black case. I'm open to any white cases although pink would be my dream case colour. Please see a link of the case below

I would prefer a white monitor to match my set up. I have found a monitor that I like and I think is good for the build the only downside is that its freesync not Gsync does this make a massive difference. please see a link of the monitor below

Not familiar with the case, but it looks good in terms of airflow. The system looks well set up.

That display looks OK (and it's certainly cheap!) but I'd put the extra £100 into getting a better option, with an IPS panel rather than the inferior VA panel that electriq display uses.

I'd suggest the ASUS VG27AQ1A:

or to splurge slightly, the Dell S2721DGFA:
