Goal: I'm trying to build a gaming pc (on the level of Witcher 3) that can support VR. I am aware that certain aspects of this pc are overbuild (such as the power supply) but I have had issues in the past where the power supply wasn't strong enough for an upgrade and a new power supply would be too big for the case, hence the overkill. Yes, the plan is to keep this pc around and upgrade it over the decades. No streaming or video processing required at all.

I have 5 questions regarding these specs:
1) Does this require a wireless network card? The motherboard seems to have one in it already.
2) Do I need an extra case fan? This case only comes with 3 frontal fans and no rear fan. Or is the rear fan slot where the processor cooling fan is supposed to go?
3) What monitor should run with this? Ideally the monitor cost should stay below 300 EUR.
4) Does this system make sense? Do these components fit together or am I trying to ram a square peg in a circular hole?
5) Will this system meet the minimum performance requirements set out by the goal (on the top)?

There's a bunch of changes I'd suggest here, but the key question is around that budget! Does the €2000 include VAT/tax? Because the price PCS gives doesn't include that. We should probably spec it for you on https://pcspecialist.at to make the taxes all make sense for you.

I configured it on the austrian website, and the total price incl. vat is 2045 EUR. So if shaving is possible, that would be nice. Note that I do not want a german operating system. I want it in English.

Thanks: that's less confusing, but still a bit confusing because the price doesn't quite match what you say (it's a bit higher). I think we can do a lot better for you with a few changes and get the cost into a place where you can get some the best possible value for money.

This would then go well with a 1440p 144+Hz monitor. I'm not sure what can be got for what prices in Austria, but a decent bet would be the Asus VG27AQ1A for around €350.

This is overall a much better package, as your original build wouldn't be strong at 1440p gaming.

The Cooler Master 212 is currently in stock? That'd be fine for the 5600X, or the PCS FF100 or 150 would handle the 5600X perfectly fine

The Frostflow 150 is the one I've gone for. They're all fine (albeit not amazing) and I'm probably overstating my opinion!
