Have you already received it?

If not, I would cancel the order and go at it from a different angle, the platform isn't the best and you can do a lot better for the money.

I suspect @SpyderTracks means you should amend the order or cancel/resubmit

It's a decent GPU but let down by a weak CPU, slow, single channel RAM, and the case will limit/prohibit future upgrades.

Meanwhile forking out for some Razer gear and various other pricey peripherals.

What's the budget? How much did the whole thing (monitor and peripherals included) cost?

Are you aiming to play Fortnite at a competitive level?

Do you think you may stream your gameplay?

Are there any economies you can make? e.g.
Do you already own a monitor or a TV with HDMI input that you could use to tide you over?
Do you have a Windows licence already you could potentially transfer to the new PC?
Do you already own any kind of keyboard and mouse?

I already amended to the AMD Ryzen 5 2600 6 core.

All in total was about £1000.
In short, I literally have nothing so everything needs to be new.

Competetive level potentially, but no - not streaming.

I put your spec into the configurator and it came out as ~£1125 including all the bits and the upgraded CPU to the R5 2600.

Fortnite can benefit a lot from dual channel RAM (where you run RAM as 2 x (e.g.) 8gb instead of 1 x (e.g.) 16gb.
Ryzen CPUs in general benefit from faster RAM too.
It's my understanding that Fortnite is very reliant on CPU performance in the endgame, and the 3rd Gen Ryzen CPUs are a good deal faster than the 2000 series.
I'd want an SSD for faster loading and a more responsive system

You're spending a lot on peripherals. Granted those are important for several reasons, but you can upgrade a peripheral more conveniently than a CPU. Also while expensive, a lot of the peripherals are still somewhat mid-range. Such that you'd possibly end up wanting to replace them in due course anyway.

Perhaps a better play would be to buy a bundle of decent but cost-effective peripherals, and upgrade over time as you decide what you want from them. The monitor's good.

And you'll want a better case with more upgrade options and better airflow.

If you need to wrest it back to closer to your existing stuff's price, then you could reduce the SSD size. If it's just Windows + Fortnite you don't need much room. And you can add more storage in the future

If you are using wifi for the PC, get the AX200 wifi card for ~£20 instead of the N300 card. If you're not using wifi to connect the PC, drop the card altogether.

Hi guys,

Took delivery of my PCS gaming pc today and everything is great.

Ive just got one question... how can i change the RGB of the fans on the front of the case? I have the RGB SPECTRUM RGB tower.

Ive installed RGBfusion, but that only changes the rgb inside the case on the motherboard.

Thanks!

Hey guys, for some reason my previous post was deleted for being duplicate thread but i havent done before.

I recieved my PC yesterday, its amazing.
I have the PCS Spectrum RGB tower with 3 RGB fans on the front. I want to edit the settings for these but rgb fusion only changes the ones on the motherboard. Any ideas how i can do this?
