But seriously, afaik, mmoga is of the same ilk as G2A, Kinguin, etc.

Edit: Lol, the website even says as the tagline in google "MMOGA: FIFA Coins, Buy WoW Gold, Game Key Deals". Any website selling WoW gold is 100% shady.

Apart from game time token transactions through the official blizzard store and in-game auction house (where players can purchase tokens granting game time for in-game gold, or make in-game gold by buying a token on the official blizzard store and selling it on the in-game auction house), buying WoW gold isn't allowed. So that's a full on red flag there.

That's not to say that if you attempt to purchase WoW gold there you wouldn't get WoW gold, you might well.. but it's not authorised, and if Blizz catch you, you'd get penalised probably with a ban, as well as having gold removed. i.e. it's not legit to sell the stuff.

...and I wonder what methods Mmonga uses to validate their sellers?

In their T&Cs there is some interesting reading....

These GTCs do not apply to the relationship between the Buyer and the seller. The terms and conditions of sale of the seller apply to the relationship between the Buyer and the seller.

MMOGA shall collect the data of the Buyer in connection with the mediation and execution of contracts. In doing so, MMOGA shall adhere to the regulations of the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) and Broadcast Media Act (TMG). MMOGA shall only collect, process, and use personal data without the consent of the Buyer in so far as necessary.

...what happened to GDPR then?

If any provision of these GTCs should be or become ineffective, this shall not affect the validity of the rest of these GTCs. The ineffective provision is to be replaced by a provision which best approximates the intent of the parties within the boundaries of the law. The same applies in the event of a loophole.

...is that even legal? It's effectively says 'these GTCs mean whatever we wish them to mean'...
