Problems with Motherboard and USB

Hi guys!

I bought my system about 6 months ago and I've started having a few problems.

My first question is:

1. What is the fix for "One of the USB Devices attached to this computer has malfunctioned"?

and secondly..

2. Am I safe to update my BIOS? It's currently on 0602, and have noticed 3904 is out.

I understand the process of updating the BIOS, but was wondering if there was any reason why I shouldn't do it...

I would like to reiterate on previous posts that a BIOS update is not a general performance update and should only be used to address a specific issue that the new BIOS was designed to fix. Updating the BIOS is often a risky business and can quite easily brick your machine if not done correctly.
