Hi PC Specialist,
I bought a system from you a while ago, it was delivered about three weeks ago but I have only just set it up as I have been away from home a lot in that time.
Everything seems great apart from the processor fan has a wearing and consistent loud buzz. Knowing a little bit about computers, I know that fan speeds can be controlled via bios settings.
So I got into via bios via rebooting and pressing F2 but the processor fan speed via fan xpert does not decrease no matter what I do. It is running at 2500rpm approx. but the processor is only 22-26 degrees.
I have the TUF H310M-Plus Gaming motherboard and a stock Master Cooler fan over the processor.
Any advice would be appreciated. I want to try to slow the fan down but if necessary I will buy and install a quiet processor fan if need be. If need be, recommendations for a silent/very quiet one would be much appreciated.
Thanks.
