Proteus - fans very noisy, wrong CPU temp in Control Center

Hi all, I'm having a bit of a conundrum with my Proteus laptop. The Control Center is stuck thinking my CPU is at 80degC and my fan is really loud all the time. I'm posting a screenshot below with Control Center at 80 and both CoreTemp and HWMonitor showing the real temp.

I uninstalled and re-installed Control Center, but that did not help. Please advise

An update from my side - I completely uninstalled Control Center and rebooted the laptop. The CPU fan is behaving better now, scaling the speed up and down. Seems like a bug in Control Center 10.0.0.12?

Have you checked on your account page in PCS's main website if under downloads you have any newer version of the Control Center?

The re-configure link is not working for me, so could not check if this is a Clevo or Tongfang chassis. Could you check that on the back cover of your laptop? It's usually a black sticker... Just saying this because if it's a clevo, you can download the up-to-date version from their website, but we would need to know the model number (usually starts with N, P, H or X).

Right. sorry for taking my time. I thought I wouldn't get an answer tbh. It's a Quanta chassis.

The version of Control Center from PCSpecialist website gave me the same issue as the one that had been installed :(

Not sure about how to get an updated Control Center for a Quanta chassis, sorry... If it was a Clevo, you could have downloaded it directly from their website.

In this case, I would recommend you send a message (or call, if you don't mind waiting in a queue) to PCS and ask for an updated version or for support to your issue. You could also try a clean install of windows that might be of help in case some other software is interfering with Control Center, so that's up to you to decide which path you want to go through.
