You will by now be used to us configuring far higher PSU's than may appear reasonable.
There's a really interesting new video from GamersNexus where they're measuring for the maximum transient spike in overall system power experienced with various different hardware configurations.
TLDR: if you have a PSU with plenty of headroom, you will likely not get the automatic shutdown symptoms that can be a result of the PSU not having enough headroom to supply that quick spike that the system is experiencing.
