[Question] Homeplugs

I ordered Homeplugs and I was wondering if I had my computer plugged in via homeplugs, would for example my mother be able to wirelessely connect to the internet or would the homeplugs have to be removed first?

I ordered Homeplugs and I was wondering if they negate the chance of a wireless network or if both are available. I ask as I am not the only person whom uses a computer in my household.
