ok so I heard that the gtx 690 is two gtx 680s in sli on one card - sounds impressive!!!
can anyone link my to some benchmarks for this card against two gtx 670's - 680s in sli config??
and if not should i take a gtx 690 over the two gtx 670 - 680s for my tripple monitor setup???
thanks brad.

ok thanks guys still unsure tho based on rubens benchmarks it seems the 690 has the jump over sli 670's any chance of a link to 680 sli vs 690 benchmarks?
thanks brad

Ah dont worry guys I have found some and once again ruben is right :p sli gtx 680s will perform better than a single gtx 690 :) but as far as I can see its only by a couple of fps so ultimately is it better to have a single graphics card or sli? or is it personal preference.

If you are planning to run 3 monitors I'd go with a SLI set up. For better performance you could go for a pre-overclocked GTX 680 4gb.

Thing to keep in mind is that even thought SLI setup seems sometimes more affordable and faster. It will generate more noise, heat and will draw more power.
