Racing game

Just wondering what the main racing games are nowadays - I got F1 2012 on steam & it's good, but I'm an ex-Forza player (360) and feel like there's a hole in my collection. Ideally I want a sim racer and an arcade racer but the best look ancient & I'm a graphics *****...

I'm surprised the likes of Forza/gran turismo have not been ported over to PC. There are many arguments around the fact Forza makes people buy the Xbox and similarly with GT and PlayStation however I cant see the reason why they cant port it over (or preferably remake it for the PC... better...)
