What were the tweaks to TGP and DBHey folks, Merry Christmas.
I did a 3DMark test today with just a tweak to TGP and Dynamic Boost. A decent score, but I see there are better scores out there for lower spec cards. Impressive! Anyway, here is my score. Thanks for any feedback
So If you compare scores what is massively holding you back is your physics score. So it's your CPU.I think it was 150W TGP and 15W dynamic boost.
You also need to notice that if I'm not wrong, you're the first user to post benchmarks using the 11800H CPU, so it is not a direct comparison. Even though yours is one generation newer than the 10875H found on other benchmarks, it is still only able to boost until 4.6Ghz while the 10875H should go up to 5.1Ghz. Not sure about the overall performance difference between them though, as clocks are important but other factors might also have an impact.
I think you may find that your 11800H is performing as intended. As @FerrariVie pointed out if you compare it to the 10875H it is sat pretty much where I would expect.
These are some really good scores to be honest I`d guess that the bump in memory speed and size improved performance quite a bit also .NEW Benches run for new RAM going from 2133MT/s to 2933MT/s which is running at 2666MT/s due to no XMP option in bios.

All done with same offsets and max fan. Will do stock later tonight.

Unfortunately, I have to top up my wallet, in order to take my notebook to the next level. For now, I am happy with this configuration!!!And this is the moment I realise I definitely bought the right laptop!!!
I wasn't making fun of your configuration. You have an extremely powerful DTR and that is an excellent Firestrike score. I am just happy that my little laptop can keep up with it.Unfortunately, I have to top up my wallet, in order to take my notebook to the next level. For now, I am happy with this configuration!!!

The reason the other Ionicos in the benchmark are double your score is because you have ran the wrong test. You need to run Firestrike not Time SpyRan two tests, one with the basic gaming mode selected that was preloaded: http://www.3dmark.com/spy/25685565
3DMark Score - 9846
Graphics Score - 10010
CPU Score - 9014

Looking at some of the other scores with similar setup on the Ionico and they have almost double this! Think I need to calibrate the laptop correctly.
That'll do it!The reason the other Ionicos in the benchmark are double your score is because you have ran the wrong test. You need to run Firestrike not Time Spy
It's dual channel, just reports a single channel, so double it and you get your operating speeds. One thing I did notice was the ram speed - the RAM I have is supposed to be 3200mhz on each stick, but they both are opperating at 1592mhz. Can dual RAM only opperate at that combined speed or something?
Would you mind making the tests on the RAM benchmark thread (below) so that we could try to double-check your frequency? 3dMark usually reports the total frequency (not half), so might be worth having a look on other tools as well. That'll do it!
Results from the right test: Dynamic boost is on to 15w. Everything else is default settings. http://www.3dmark.com/fs/27025837

One thing I did notice was the ram speed - the RAM I have is supposed to be 3200mhz on each stick, but they both are opperating at 1592mhz. Can dual RAM only opperate at that combined speed or something? Or does it completely depend on what I am doing with the laptop?

I've added it to your post FerrariWould you mind making the tests on the RAM benchmark thread (below) so that we could try to double-check your frequency? 3dMark usually reports the total frequency (not half), so might be worth having a look on other tools as well.
Hi all, I started to notice in the forum some discussions going on recently about RAM speeds: some people trying to compare speeds from their builds against others with the same specs, while others are just trying to check their clock speeds. So I thought about the idea of creating a rank of...www.pcspecialist.ie
I'll update the rank here later today.
