Recoil 15.6"

Hi all,

first post, so not sure how many responses this will get or how quickly. Anybody any experience of the titled laptop (i.e. owning it)? Am toying with the idea of this one to replace my (adequate for most stuff except the bit of gaming that I do) 10+ yr old Sony Vaio, and want one that will last another 10+ yrs. I don't envisage my usage of the laptop changing significantly from what I do now (other than lighter-end gaming), so am not overly concerned with it becoming "outdated" quickly.

Also, I note on the detailed spec for this machine it states maximum memory as 32gb, but the configurator only lets you go up to 16gb...

Any feedback would be champion!!

The OP was referring to the Recoil 1 as their post was from June 2016. I've no idea what chassis that was.

If you're referring to the Recoil 2 currently on sale it looks the same as the Illegear Onyx - no idea what they are using for it. It's not Clevo I don't think, but I don't know who it is. If nobody here knows, you could either call PCS or ask someone on the notebookreview forums if they can identify it.
