Hi just did a quick preliminary configuration after seeing the availability of the new ryzens. I was eagerly awaiting for the new Legion 5 Pro but wonder if you guys have any thoughts with how this compares particularly against the legion 5 pro's 5800H (45watt) + RTX 3070 (140watt boost). Will the 3070 on the recoil configuration see similar power boosts?
- Also I have a spare Windows 10 license but am wondering how do I go about getting required software/drivers for this machine if I don't select an operating system.
- Does this chasis allow access to upgrade or swap the CPU/GPU/RAM/SSD? and if so does it void the warranty? I think the system can handle a faster ram (3200mhz) but from the selection available falls under (3000mhz). These are mainly upgrades I will do down the line in 2 or 3 years. I also have my own tubes of mx4 thermal paste I could apply.
- Is there a mux switch? switch between using dedicated graphics and the cpu integrated one.
- Is the screen comparible with the legion 5 pro of 500nits brightness and accurate colour reproduction?
- Any idea of cpu + gpu temperatures under sustained stress/loads?
